DOA Grant application

The purpose of the Diverse Business Assistance Program is to provide funding to assist chambers and non-profit organizations providing assistance to small businesses owned by individuals who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding for this assistance is provided to Wisconsin by the Federal American Rescue Plan Act and administered by the Wisconsin Department of Administration.

As with many diverse communities, the pandemic amplified understanding and recognition of systemic barriers, inequity, and disparities experienced by Tribes and Tribal Members located in Wisconsin. Working with the support of the Federal American Rescue Plan Act resources and support by the Wisconsin Department of Administration, the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (AICCW) is now positioned to provide long overdue access to small business rescue, recovery and diversification grants. The AICCW has new tribal programs and services designed to assist in diversifying and strengthening tribal economies and tribal enterprises. And the AICCW is now providing Native B-2-B business development and networking opportunities, as well as access to business capacity building video learning resources.
